Please note that depending on your tension and the sock size your making (in terms of both foot and leg length) you may require more than the one 100g ball for a pair of socks! Many heavy weight sock yarns come in 150g balls for this reason, but Novita comes in 100g balls so that you can purchase 1 ball for smaller projects like ankle socks, hats, and mittens, or 2 balls for most adult socks, and so on for kids sweaters, etc. You can choose to purchase 1 100g ball of the self-striping colour, and a smaller ball of a coordinating solid colour of West Yorkshire Spinner's Aire Valley or Drops Karisma for the heels and toes to make large socks. You may also consider reinforcing the heels & toes with Regia 2ply or another thread/lace yarn to improve longevity.
