SILK MOHAIR LUX is ideal for knitting cardigans and sweaters—knit with one strand for a modern and lightweight lace jacket, or with two strands for a warm and voluminous sweater or jacket. When knitting with one strand, make sure to knit the cuffs in two folds to help them retain their shape better. Also, remember that if the main fabric is knitted with 3.5 – 4 mm needles, use needles that are 0.5 – 1 mm smaller for the cuffs.

Super kid mohair yarn with silk can be added to other fiber yarns, such as merino or cotton, and can also be combined with sock yarn to add fluffiness.

For knitting mohair items, wooden and bamboo needles are best as they allow better control of the yarn and help create smooth and uniform stitches.
