With this Kumihimo loom you can make the most beautiful cords, necklaces, key rings and so much more! Kumihimo is an ancient Japanese braiding art: 'kumi' means braiding and 'himo' means cord. This loom made of sturdy foam plastic makes braiding easy. You simply place your thread of choice in one of the 32 slits that are arranged around the loom, so that the various threads do not get tangled during braiding. The disc is lightweight and compact, making it perfect for braiding on the go, for example on vacation. This braiding technique is also very suitable for children! They can braid a nice bracelet or anklet in their own choice of colours. Satin cord is ideal to use with a Kumihimo loom, but sturdy cotton threads are also suitable. The Kumihimo loom is available in a width of 10, 13 or 15cm.
